About Us

Established in the early 1980s by Damien Patterson and Tony McCarthy, our award-winning practice, originally known as McCarthy & Patterson, has built a strong reputation from its beginnings in County Limerick to recognition across Ireland, Europe and the United States of America.

In 2015, the company was taken on by Mark Patterson, son of the late Damien Patterson. Mark has spent a lifetime working closely with his father and learning from his wealth of experience as an architect. Building upon that, Mark has added his own creativity, skills, dedication, and expertise, which has been instrumental in continuing the legacy and success of the company.

We have a proud portfolio, offering architectural services for houses, extensions, bars, and hotels. Our offices are located in Newcastle West, Co. Limerick and Mallow, Co. Cork, enabling us to serve clients throughout the region.
